Showroom with a twist
Steelcase, a leading global manufacturer of various finishing materials for interiors and furniture, wanted to create and display an innovative piece of contemporary architecture.
The design of the Bao Kim’s showroom inside its new headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, features a series of ideas which we have evolved after several collaborations with the company. It was Steven Baeteman Studio’s aim to create a place that, on the one hand, recalls its corporate image, and on the other hand, dialogues in a poetic and balanced way with different departments.
The result is a composition of different elements, which are not naturally balanced. However, the final scheme uses this disruption to create a truly energetic design experience.
