Blush Beach

Hoi an, Vietnam

Set on 1.4 hectares of beachfront between Danang and Hoi An, Blush Beach is a full-scale expression of Steven Baeteman Studio's design philosophy — Steven Baeteman led the project end to end, overseeing the masterplan, architecture, interior design, and landscape design as one continuous vision rather than separate disciplines. The result is a true cohesive experience, where every element, from the shape of the land to the texture of a cushion, speaks the same design language.

Raw concrete forms cantilever over palm groves toward the sea, grounding the architecture in the site's tropical setting while framing uninterrupted views of the coastline. At the heart of the club, a banked central lounge opens onto 180-degree ocean views, its lines softened by lattice-patterned partitions that filter light and create a sense of intimacy within an otherwise open, breeze-swept space.

The landscape design carries this same restraint outdoors: a swim-up pool bar anchors the social heart of the club, while sun-warmed cabanas and daybeds are scattered along the shoreline, each positioned to catch the changing light through the day. It's a place built to be lingered in — from late-morning swims to sunset drinks — where architecture, interior, and landscape work together to create one seamless, breathing environment by the sea.
